22 Months Later...
And I'm still here.
It’s hard to believe I write this two months out from the two-year mark of living in Italy. The lives I’ve lived since this post, and even this one, remind me that we waste far more time thinking and projecting rather than simply doing or being. It reasons both sides of the coin: If you’re continually putting off something that you’ve always wanted to do, why not just do it? Conversely, if you’re impatient for something now, yet don’t want to put in the time or effort to do it well, then maybe bless yourself and wait. The time will pass anyway. Wisdom accumulates in the gaps.
I’m saying this to myself, mostly.
